We recently took the decision to have a media wall installed. After hours of searching we contacted Luke Baskett @House of Grain. He’s a local master carpenter, located in Woodbridge Suffolk.

On our initial meeting where we explained our ideas, Luke took in the information and said, leave it with me. He got back to us promptly with our designs and some great improvements. Every step of the build Luke stopped and asked for our feedback and, any changes. This made us feel very comfortable and more importantly, we knew the media wall would be to our specification.

As a tradesman, he’s extremely polite, friendly, always on time and extremely professional. His work ethos is unbelievable, very clean and a true perfectionist, it’s lovely to see someone so passionate about their trade. All the traits you want from a person working in your home.

The job took one week, Luke organised the electrician who installed our LED lights, he then organised for the painter to complete the finish. From start to finish, a great experience.

We will definitely use Luke again at @House of Grain, we hope the pictures (attached) do his work justice.

We asked Luke to build custom cupboards from scratch in our utility room and the result is fantastic. Great communication from start to finish, really listened to what we needed, and offered helpful design suggestions along the way. The workmanship and attention to detail are excellent — the cupboards are sturdy, well-finished, and have completely transformed the space.

Everything was completed on time, the workspace was kept clean and tidy, and the whole process was smooth and professional. Highly recommend Luke from House of Grain to anyone looking for bespoke storage or quality carpentry work.

We couldn’t be happier with the work Luke Basket of House of Grain has done for us. He built a bespoke wall unit complete with cupboards and a wine rack, and the finished result looks absolutely fantastic — even better than we imagined.

The workmanship is top-notch, with real attention to detail throughout. Luke was also incredibly neat and tidy while working, which made the whole process stress-free.

We made quite a few changes along the way from the original plan, and Luke was always accommodating, flexible, and easy to work with. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and his ability to adapt really helped bring our vision to life.
